Shravanabelagola (Karnataka), April 17, 2005: The Karnataka state Jain youths conference that raised the curtains for the Mahamasthakabhisheka celebrations concluded with the Bhattrakha Sammelan. Nine Bhattarakhas from the Jain Mutts in South India participated in the conference, they include Swasti Sri Charukeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of the Shravanabelagola Jain Mutt, Swasti Sri Bhattakalanka Bhattarakha Swamiji of the Sonda Jain Mutt, Swasti Sri Lakshmisena Bhattarakha Swamiji of the Narasimharajapura Jain Mutt, Swasti Sri Lalithakeerthi Swamiji of the Karkala Jain Mutt, Swasti Sri Dhavalakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of the Tirumalai Jain Mutt, Swasti Sri Bhanukeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of the Kambadahalli Jain Mutt, Swasti Sri Lakshmisena Bhattarakha Swamiji of the Melchitamur Jain Mutt, Swasti Sri Vrushabasena Bhattarakha Swamiji of the Lakkavalli Jain Mutt and Swasti Sri Charukeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of the Moodabidri Jain Mutt.
The Bhattarakha’s called upon the youths to unite themselves and worked towards the propagation and revival of Jainism in the coming days.
