Bengaluru (Karnataka), March 15, 2017: The Government of Karnataka has released an amount of Rs. 175 Crores (INR 17.5 Million) for the Mahamasthakabhisheka Mahotsava – 2018 of Lord Bahubali at Shravanabelagola. Karnataka chief minister Sri Siddaramaiah made this announcement is his budget speech today. This will be part of the Rs. 570 crores grants the Government of Karnataka has promised to release for the celebrations. This amount will be utilised for providing facilities to the devotees arriving to Shravanabelagola from all over the world and for improving infrastructure in and around Shravanabelagola.
