Gadag: There are three important temples in Gadag. The ceeranarayana temple is one among them. A commercial centre too.

Nargund: Known for its old fort which is considered as one of the strongest in Bombay-Karnataka region. It has a large temple of Shankara linga.

Lakkundi: Has several temples of Kalyani Chalukyan style.

Dambala: Famous religious place.
