Shravanabelagola, January 4, 2006: HH Swasthishri Charukeeerthi Bhattaraka Mahaswamiji distributed sewing machines to around 25 economically backward women on Wednesday under the aegis of Jana Kalyana Trust of Shravanabelagola Digambar Jain Mutt. This scheme is a part of the Janakalyana Programmes (People Welfare programmes) under taken with the Mahamasthakabhisheka Celebrations 2006. Ms. Saritha Jain of Chennai sponsored the machines. Vinod Kumar Bakiwala of Mysore, Nirmal Kumar Sethi of Lucknow and Poonamchand Gangwal of Delhi are seen in the company of the Swamiji at the function held at the Chavundaraya Mantapa in the Mutt premises. – Jain Heritage Centres News Service (JHCNS)
